Job summary

The Oldham Academy North is seeking a caring and reliable Midday Supervisor to create a safe, positive environment for students during lunch periods. You will support wellbeing, monitor behaviour, and promote respectful interactions among pupils as part of a supportive school community.

Join our 11-16 academy in Oldham and work collaboratively with staff to ensure a smooth lunchtime routine. Training in safeguarding is encouraged, and you will be part of a trust committed to excellence and pupil

Qualifications

• Caring, reliable individual with a positive attitude.
• Ability to supervise and support students during lunch and break times.
• Strong communication with pupils, peers, and parents when needed.
• Maintain calm, respectful environment and promote positive behaviour.
• Awareness of safeguarding, with willingness to undertake training.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students during lunchtime, ensuring safety and positive behaviour.
• Promote a calm, inclusive environment in dining and outdoor areas.
• Monitor and manage student behaviour in line with academy policies.
• Support student wellbeing and report safeguarding concerns.
• Maintain a safe, clean lunch period in collaboration with staff.
