Job summary

Lift Montgomery Primary in Birmingham is seeking a friendly Midday Supervisor to supervise pupils during lunch and playtime, helping to create a safe and inclusive lunchtime experience.

You will work 7.5 hours per week on a fixed-term contract until 21 July 2027, with start date as soon as possible. Previous experience with children is helpful, and you will collaborate with staff to support pupil wellbeing and positive behaviour.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising or caring for children
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils
• Calm in busy environments

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils safely during lunchtime and playtime in dining and playground areas
• Encourage positive behaviour and respectful interactions
• Support pupils' wellbeing and respond appropriately to concerns or incidents
• Help maintain a safe, clean lunchtime environment
• Collaborate with the school team to run lunchtime activities
