Job summary

Long Sutton County Primary School is seeking a friendly Midday Supervisory Assistant to join the lunchtime team. The role runs 5 hours per week from 12:00 to 13:00, Monday to Friday, on a fixed-term basis until 31 August 2027.

You will help supervise pupils during lunch, support healthy eating, and assist with activities and safety throughout the lunchtime period. The post requires a flexible, supportive presence in the school community, with safeguarding procedures and DBS checks in place as

Responsibilities

• Supervise and assist the children during their lunch
• Ensure standards for healthy eating and table manners are maintained
• Supervise and monitor behaviour in the playground or other designated areas during indoor play
• Lead the children in the establishment of suitable activities
• Maintain checks throughout the lunchtime period to ensure pupils are safe
• Clear the dining hall and supervise pupils both inside the school and in the playground
