Job summary

Powys County Council is seeking a Midday Supervisor for Llanelwedd CiW Primary School to supervise pupils during the lunch period and safeguard their wellbeing. You will work under the Senior Midday Supervisor and support staff in day-to-day duties, following training and school policies.

The role may involve assisting with toileting needs and basic care tasks, and may require handling small cash or invoices. An Enhanced DBS check is required for appointment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure the safety and well being of pupils during lunchtime.
• Work under the direction of the Senior Midday Supervisor or designated person.
• May assist with meeting toileting needs and related movement tasks as trained.
• Assist with guiding and supporting other staff, work experience or trainees.
• Handle small cash, processing cheques or invoices where required.
• Care for and use school equipment responsibly and safely.
