Job summary

Sapientia Education Trust in Felixstowe is seeking a reliable Midday Supervisor to oversee pupils during dining and play times, helping maintain a safe, orderly environment and supporting classrooms as needed. You will assist with queues, meals, and ensuring good behaviour and wellbeing under the Headteacher's direction.

You will work within a Trust-wide team, follow the school code of conduct, and contribute to safeguarding, first aid, and daily routines.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children in all areas of the school to ensure safety and good behaviour.
• Oversee dining room and meal times to maintain a positive environment.
• Assist with setting up and clearing tables and chairs in the dining area.
• Support children in their play and monitor safeguarding concerns.
• Record significant lunchtime issues with teachers or in designated forms.
• Refer safeguarding concerns to the designated person.
• Complete first aid in the playground and report to class teacher.
