Job summary

Purfleet Primary Academy, part of REAch2 Academy Trust, is seeking a Midday Assistant to help create a safe, enjoyable lunchtime for children. You will support table manners, supervise play, promote positive behaviour and assist with basic first aid.

You will work with primary-aged children, be reliable, build good relationships with pupils and staff, and contribute to safeguarding during lunch. The academy offers a supportive leadership team and opportunities for professional development within

Qualifications

• Experience working with primary aged children.
• A basic understanding of child development.
• Enthusiasm and dedication for supporting pupils during lunchtime.

Responsibilities

• Support children with table manners and use of cutlery during lunchtime.
• Coordinate a range of fun and engaging play activities.
• Promote positive behaviour throughout lunchtime.
• Administer minor first aid and ensure welfare and safety of all children.
