Job summary

Riverside Academy is seeking a caring Midday Assistant to join our supportive lunchtime team. You will help children with table manners, hand-use of cutlery and supervise engaging activities to ensure a safe, happy lunchtime.

We value a warm, respectful environment where children can enjoy light play, learn good habits, and build positive behaviour under guidance from the school’s leadership and the REAch2 Academy Trust community.

Qualifications

• Experience with primary aged children.
• Basic understanding of child development.
• Enthusiasm and dedication for lunchtime support.

Responsibilities

• Support children with table manners and use of cutlery during lunch.
• Coordinate a range of fun and engaging play activities.
• Promote positive behaviour and supervise lunchtime environment.
• Administer minor first aid and ensure welfare and safety of all children.
