Job summary

Purfleet Primary Academy, part of REAch2 Academy Trust, is seeking a friendly Midday Assistant to help create a safe, enjoyable lunchtime for pupils. You will support children with table manners, supervise play, and promote positive behaviour through engaging activities.

You will also assist with basic first aid and safeguarding during lunchtime, contributing to a calm and caring school environment for all children.

Qualifications

• Experience working with primary aged children.
• Basic understanding of child development.
• Enthusiasm and dedication for supporting pupils during lunchtime.

Responsibilities

• Support children with table manners and use of cutlery.
• Coordinate a range of fun and engaging play activities.
• Promote positive behaviour during lunchtime.
• Administer minor first aid and ensure welfare and safety during lunch.
