Job summary

Summerside Primary Academy is seeking an enthusiastic Mealtime Supervisor to join our supportive team. You will help children enjoy a safe, happy lunchtime, supervise tables, assist with cutlery, and promote positive behaviour during breaks.

You will also assist with light first aid and support play activities, helping children build confidence and social skills while fostering a calm, caring lunchtime environment for all pupils.

Qualifications

• Experience working with primary aged children.
• Basic understanding of child development.
• Enthusiasm and dedication for supporting pupils during lunchtime.

Responsibilities

• Supervise lunchtime to ensure safety and positive behaviour.
• Support children with table manners and use of cutlery.
• Coordinate engaging play activities during lunch.
• Administer minor first aid and oversee welfare during lunch.
