Job summary

Edward Bryant Primary School is seeking a Midday Meals Supervisor to join the lunchtime team. The role covers 12.5 hours per week during term time, 11.15am to 1.45pm, 38 weeks plus 5.8 weeks annual leave. Salary is NJC Grade 2, SCP 3, with pro rata annual pay of £25,614 p.a. (£7,288 p.a. actual starting salary).

The successful candidate will promote positive play, help with pastoral care, and support children with social interactions within a caring school community.

Qualifications

• Pastoral care experience preferred.
• Ability to work well with children in a lunchtime setting.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support children at lunchtimes and promote positive play, teamwork and friendship.
• Assist with pastoral care and well-being of pupils during lunch period.
