Job summary

Greenfields Primary School is seeking a caring Midday Supervisor to supervise pupils at lunchtime, support wellbeing and promote safe and respectful behaviour.

The role is 6.5 hours per week across 38 weeks per year, on-site, with a defined pension, life cover and generous annual leave; the school also offers CPD and staff development within the E-ACT Trust.

Join a supportive team within E-ACT Greenfield Academy and help create a positive, inclusive lunchtime experience for all pupils.

Qualifications

• Good literacy and numeracy skills and the ability to communicate with pupils, staff and parents.
• Experience of working with children or in a school/childcare setting.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to foster positive behaviour.
• Ability to work as part of a team and remain calm in a busy environment.
• Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and pupil welfare.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils during lunchtime, ensuring safety and wellbeing.
• Promote positive behaviour and respectful interactions.
• Support pupils in dining and playground areas.
• Respond to accidents and safeguarding concerns following procedures.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a safe, inclusive environment.
