Job summary

Star Academy, part of Academy Transformation Trust, is seeking a dedicated Midday Supervisor to support pupils during lunch. The role is a part-time position (5 hours per week) on fixed term until 31 August 2027, at NJC Scale Point 3.

You will supervise, guide behaviour, and respond to minor incidents with calm, competent support for students and staff. Knowledge of kitchen health and safety is an advantage, and the school values enthusiastic, reliable team players who can make a positive

Qualifications

• Experience working with children during lunch periods.
• Ability to manage groups and maintain safety.
• Basic first aid knowledge and calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils during the lunch period to maintain order.
• Assist with basic food service health and safety procedures.
• Provide basic first aid if needed and report incidents.
• Communicate effectively with students and staff during breaks.
