Job summary

Greswold Primary School in Solihull is seeking a dynamic Lunchtime Supervisor on a permanent contract to start as soon as possible. You will supervise children aged 4 to 11 in the dining room and help care for them in the playground during lunchtime.

The role is 7.5 hours per week, 11:50 to 13:20, Monday to Friday, term time only. Salary is Band A, scale point 3, around £4,193 actual (pay pending). Closing date 5 October 2026. DBS check will be required on appointment.

We are looking to recruit a dynamic, enthusiastic lunchtime supervisor on a permanent contract to start as soon as possible. You must be able to work as part of a team and should be responsible and friendly, be able to keep calm whilst responding quickly to situations and enjoy working with children.
The position involves being proactive in a practical role of supervising children, aged between 4 & 11, in the dining room and caring for them in the playground area during the rest of their lunchtime break.
Hours worked are seven and a half hours per week from 11:50 to 13:20 Monday to Friday inclusive, term time only, exclusive of INSET days. Slight variation in working times may be required.
Salary will be paid on Band A scale point 3, £24,796 pro rata (pay award pending) (Actual circa £4,193).
