Job summary

King's Academy Northern Parade (Infant) is seeking a dedicated Midday Supervisor to help children enjoy a safe and happy lunchtime. You will supervise activities indoors and outdoors, support positive routines and promote friendly play among pupils.

We value warmth, approachability and a willingness to engage in playground activities. Experience with children is desirable, and you will work closely with staff to maintain a calm, inclusive lunchtime environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with children is desirable.
• Enthusiasm, common sense and genuine passion for helping children thrive.
• Ability to work as part of a friendly school team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during lunchtime and playtime indoors and outdoors.
• Help create a fun, safe and positive playground environment.
• Encourage children to play together and develop friendships.
• Support positive lunchtime routines and wellbeing.
• Watch for safety and wellbeing and act as a calm, approachable role model.
• Organise and encourage playground activities and games.
• Work closely with school staff to ensure a happy lunchtime.
