Job summary

The Prince Albert Community Trust (PACT) wish to appoint a Lunchtime Supervisor to be initially based at Heathfield Primary School. This term-time only role is Monday–Friday, 9.5 hours per week, with a Grade 2 salary (£5,667–£6,271 per annum).

We seek a caring, friendly and proactive team player to supervise pupils during lunch breaks, promote safe play, and support safeguarding commitments. A positive relationship with pupils and staff, plus good literacy and computer skills, are essential.

Qualifications

• Caring, active and friendly
• Positive relationship with pupils and staff
• Professional and polite with good literacy and communication skills
• Experience working with children (desirable)

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils during lunch breaks in dining hall, playground and other areas.
• Encourage positive play and social interaction.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children.
• Promote good behaviour and follow school policies.
• Assist with setting up and clearing the dining area as needed.
