Job summary

Horley Infant School in Horley, Surrey, is seeking a Midday Supervisor to join the casual lunchtime team. You will help set up and clear dining areas, supervise children, and encourage healthy eating and good manners during lunch and playtime.

The role is casual, zero-hours with regular hours, requiring a patient, calm, and proactive team player who can engage children in games and activities while promoting positive behaviour.

Qualifications

• Is patient, tolerant, sympathetic and fair.
• Excellent listening skills and ability to engage with children.
• Ability to work independently, show initiative and stay calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Set up and clear furniture in dining hall.
• Supervise children in dining hall and playground during lunchtimes.
• Support children moving from dependence to independence at lunchtime.
• Engage children in a wide range of games and activities to promote positive play and behaviour.
