Job summary

Ysgol Sychdyn is seeking a caring, enthusiastic Midday Supervisory Assistant to supervise pupils at lunchtime and support their safety and wellbeing in the dining hall and on the playground.

The successful candidate will build positive relationships, promote good manners and social interaction, and work effectively as part of a team. The role is part-time, term-time only, with a temporary contract until 31st August 2027 and the potential to become permanent.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils during lunchtime in dining hall and on playground
• Support pupils’ safety, wellbeing and positive play experiences at all times
• Work as part of a team with colleagues and leadership
• Be reliable, punctual and flexible; support safeguarding and wellbeing of pupils
• Assist with Welsh ethos and values of the school
