Job summary

Wynyard Church of England Primary School is seeking a caring Midday Supervisory Assistant to support pupils during the lunch break. You will supervise routines, encourage positive play and help children develop social skills in a safe, welcoming environment.

The successful candidate will be compassionate, patient and resilient, forming strong relationships with pupils and staff while promoting wellbeing and adherence to behaviour policies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage lunchtime routines.
• Supervise, guide and encourage children to develop social skills.
• Maintain discipline during lunch and promote adherence to school policies.
• Assist children to play by suggesting activities and teaching play skills.
• Manage the safe use of play equipment and provide first aid when required.
