Job summary

Swaffham CofE Primary Academy invites applications for a part-time Midday Supervisory Assistant to join a friendly team. The role covers lunchtime supervision, ensuring pupil safety and supporting play activities in the lunch hour.

You will work within established policies to create a calm, engaging environment for children. The post is 7.5 hours per week, term time only, with start date as soon as possible.

Qualifications

• Be well-motivated and calm with the ability to relate well to children and organise play activities.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Good interpersonal skills and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and well-being of pupils during lunch breaks.
• Adhere to school policies and procedures in play areas and during wet playtimes.
• Support pupils with activities and help maintain a positive lunchtime environment.
