Job summary

St Anthony’s Catholic Primary Academy in Wolverhampton is seeking a Lunchtime Supervisor to support children aged 4–11 during midday breaks, provide a positive role model and help manage playground activities.

The role is term-time only, 7.5 hours per week, paid at £13.70 per hour, and will involve assisting in the dining hall and ensuring a safe, orderly lunch period. Closing Date Noon 13 October 2026; interviews 16 October 2026.

Responsibilities

• Provide a positive role model to all children in the academy within the age range of 4-11 years.
• Ensure that lunchtime activities are supported and managed in accordance with the school’s policies and procedures under the overall direction of the Head Teacher which may include- undertaking playground and play leadership duties and ensuring the children have a safe and fun playtime, organising games and helping to settle issues that arise.
• Assist children in the dining hall during mealtimes and maintain cleanliness across the area.
