Lunchtime Supervisor – Poole
The Supply Register are currently recruiting for a Lunchtime Supervisor to work within a school in Poole, starting as soon as possible.
The Role
- Location: Poole
- Hours: 12:00pm – 1:00pm
- Monday to Friday
- 1 hour per day
- Immediate start
- Temporary opportunity
The successful candidate will support the school during the lunchtime period, helping to ensure pupils are safe, supervised and supported throughout lunchtime and playtime.
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential
- Confident and approachable manner
- Good communication skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work effectively as part of a school team
- A positive attitude towards supporting children
- School experience is desirable but not essential
Safeguarding & Compliance Requirements
- As this role is based within a school, all candidates must meet our safeguarding and compliance requirements, including:
- Minimum of 2 employer references covering the previous 24 months
- If you have not previously worked with children, 3 references will be required
- Any employment gaps must be supported by a professional character reference
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is highly desirable, particularly due to the immediate start
- Candidates without an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service must be willing to obtain a new Enhanced DBS
- Right to Work documentation
- Two proofs of address – utility bill/bank statement dated within the last 3 months, or council tax statement dated within the last 12 months
- Proof of National Insurance
- Proof of any name changes, where applicable
- Overseas Police Check where required for candidates who have lived/worked outside the UK for more than 6 months
- Completion of all mandatory online training courses provided by The Supply Register
