Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a Lunchtime Supervisor for a Brent-based primary school (NW10). The role runs during lunch hours, supervising pupils in the dining hall and on the playground, from 11:00 to 14:00, five days a week during term time.

The contract is temporary and ends July 2027, with potential extension. Experience with children is preferred; safeguarding training within the last year is desirable.

Prospero Teaching is looking for a Lunchtime Supervisor, this role is in Brent, NW10.

ABOUT THE SCHOOL

The school is a popular mainstream Primary School with a supportive senior leadership team. The school is going from strength to strength and providing training to all staff.

Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.

CONTRACT/ POSITION DETAILS

• Location - Brent, NW10.
• Type of work - Lunchtime Supervisor
• Position - Supporting during lunch hours, playground duty etc.
• Contract or position start date - ASAP
• Duration / Likely Duration - Until end of the academic year July 2027 (possibly on-going)

• Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £40 per day
• Hours - 11am - 2pm : Mon - Fri (term time only)

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience working with children (desired not essential)
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
