Job summary

Hales Valley Trust in Dudley, West Midlands, is seeking a Midday Superintendent to oversee pupil safety and behaviour during lunchtimes. You will lead Supervisory Assistants and ensure safe indoor and outdoor environments.

You will work with staff and the Catering Manager to run lunchtime operations smoothly, maintaining high standards of supervision and pupil conduct. The role is 10 hours weekly across 38 weeks per year on a permanent contract.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising children during lunchtime.
• Ability to assist with minor first aid and safety tasks.
• Good communication with staff and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee pupil safety and behaviour during lunchtime, indoors and outdoors.
• Lead and support Supervisory Assistants.
• Liaise with staff and Catering Manager for smooth lunchtime operations.
• Report to Line Manager on daily supervision standards.
