Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience supervising children or young people in a school or lunchtime setting is essential.
• Ability to communicate clearly with pupils and colleagues.
• Positive, patient and approachable with good relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils during lunchtime in dining, playground and other designated areas.
• Set up tables prior to lunch service and clear them away at the end of the session.
• Encourage positive behaviour, respectful interactions and an inclusive environment.
• Support pupils' welfare and respond appropriately to any concerns or incidents.
• Help maintain a safe, clean and well-organised lunchtime environment.
• Support lunchtime activities where required and work closely with the wider school team.
