Job summary

Egerton Primary School is seeking Midday Assistants to help create a positive and safe lunchtime experience for our children. The role supports pupils during 7.5 hours per week across 38 weeks per year, with a permanent contract and a salary of £4,364.

The Learning Partnership offers staff wellbeing initiatives, flexible working on day one, free parking and access to CPD and secondment opportunities. Applications are welcomed from diverse backgrounds and safeguarding checks are required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the safety of pupils during the lunchtime period; taking into account pupil ages, disability and behaviour.
• Arranges age-appropriate activities for pupils during inclement weather.
• Ensures application of the school behaviour policy during this period, referring serious issues to the Midday Supervisor where applicable.
• Work closely with our staff team to ensure the smooth running of lunchtime
