Job summary

Cuddington Croft Primary School is seeking a dedicated Lunchtime Playworker to help create a safe, fun and supportive environment for children during lunch and play.

You will supervise eating areas, support children in play, and help with first aid if needed; training can be provided. The role offers flexible 4-day weeks, 12:00–13:15, 5 hours per week across 38 weeks per year; DBS required.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children.
• Patient, approachable and adaptable to the needs of breaktime and lunch periods.
• First Aid training desirable; training can be provided if not held.

Responsibilities

• Supervise eating and play areas during lunch and break times.
• Support children in their play and eating, ensuring safety and well-being.
• Maintain a friendly but firm approach with all children in the playground.
