Job summary

Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council's Maidensbridge Primary School invites three Lunchtime Play Workers to supervise lunch and outdoor play, ensuring safe, inclusive and engaging activities for pupils.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 1.5 hours per day, 38 weeks (term time only). Closing date 21 September 2026; DBS check and Right to Work in the UK are required; sponsorship is not offered at this time.

Qualifications

• Must be able to provide documentation proving the right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS check required and safeguarding training may be expected.

Responsibilities

• Encourage and support children in a wide range of outdoor play activities.
• Set up resources in playground zones, report damages and help children access play resources safely.
• Actively supervise designated play areas.
• Organise dinner queues and encourage good behaviour in the dining hall.
