St Raphael’s Catholic Primary School in Stalybridge invites applications for a permanent Midday Assistant to join our friendly team from October 2026 or sooner. The role is 5 hours per week, term time only, Monday to Friday, 12:00–1:00pm, to supervise lunch and create play opportunities for our happy children.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children.
• Ability to relate to children and adults.
• Ability to supervise lunchtime activities effectively.
• Works well within a team.
• Understanding and support of Catholic ethos.

Responsibilities

• Supervise lunchtime and create safe play opportunities.
• Support children during lunch breaks and organize activities.
• Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure a positive lunchtime experience.
