Job summary

Henhurst Ridge Primary Academy is seeking a caring Midday Assistant to support children during lunch to ensure a safe, enjoyable, and well‑behaved lunchtime. You will help with table manners, assist with a range of play activities, monitor behaviour, and provide basic first aid when needed, under the supervision of the school team.

Qualifications

• Experience working with primary aged children.
• A basic understanding of child development.
• Enthusiasm and dedication for supporting pupils during lunchtime.

Responsibilities

• Support children with table manners and use of cutlery.
• Coordinate a range of fun and engaging play activities.
• Promote positive behaviour during lunchtime.
• Administer minor first aid and ensure welfare and safety of all children.
