Job summary

Bushbury Lane Academy is seeking a caring Midday Assistant to join our supportive team. You will help children enjoy a safe, happy lunchtime, supervise meals, support table manners, and coordinate engaging play activities.

You will promote positive behaviour, assist with basic first aid, and ensure welfare and safety throughout the lunch period, contributing to a welcoming, inclusive environment for all pupils.

Qualifications

• Experience working with primary aged children.
• Basic understanding of child development.
• Enthusiasm and dedication for lunchtime support.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during lunch and promote safe behaviour.
• Assist with table manners and use of cutlery.
• Administer minor first aid and ensure welfare on the lunch period.
• Coordinate a range of engaging play activities during Lunchtime.
