Job summary

Toad Hall Nursery in Hitchin is looking for a Lunchtime Assistant to join our team. This part-time role offers 20 hours per week, 11am-3pm, Monday to Friday, all-year round.

You will support children aged 0-5 with activities under EYFS guidelines and ensure a safe, nurturing lunchtime environment. Unqualified applicants are welcome, though previous nursery experience is preferred and priority will be given to qualified practitioners.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting is essential.
• Unqualified applicants allowed, but qualifications are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support daily care and supervision of children aged 0-5.
• Assist planning and delivering age-appropriate activities.
