Job summary

Cadbury Heath Primary School in Bristol is seeking a Lunchbreak Supervisor to join our supportive team. The role is part-time, 7 hours per week during term time, supervising pupils at lunchtimes to ensure safety and positive behaviour.

You will work with lunch staff and teachers, communicate effectively, stay calm with children, and participate in training. The post is permanent and aligned with school hours; the successful candidate starts as soon as possible.

Qualifications

• Be enthusiastic, self-motivated and demonstrate a positive ‘can-do’ attitude.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork skills while also being able to use their initiative.
• Have excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety, welfare and positive behaviour of pupils during lunchtime.
• Act as a vital link between pupils, lunchtime staff and the school team.
• Maintain a calm and consistent approach when interacting with children.
• Support outdoor play and adhere to the school’s weather ethos.
• Be willing to participate in training and professional development.
• Adhere strictly to standards of confidentiality.
