Job summary

Reed Construction Limited is seeking a Lubrication Technician to support customer assets in the Liverpool area, improving reliability and reducing downtime. The role includes hands-on lubrication work, routine maintenance, and opportunities for extensive internal training.

You will work with Reliability Engineers, perform inspections, and participate in lubrication routes across the UK, with a focus on proactive maintenance and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Technical training or experience in the electromechanical field.
• Ability to work independently with personal responsibility.
• Able to collaborate within a dynamic team of technicians.
• Basic electrical knowledge and broader mechanical understanding.
• Machinery Lubrication Technician Level 1 or 2 is advantageous.
• Experience with lubrication of industrial installations is beneficial.
• Willingness to travel across the UK to support customers.
• Opportunities for internal training and career growth.

Responsibilities

• Carry out periodic lubrication of customer assets with correct lubricants.
• Support Reliability Engineers by implementing and improving services.
• Perform visual inspections for leaks and reliability improvements.
• Conduct lubrication routes and suggest PdM improvements.
• Manage oil changes, filter systems, and enhancements.
• Take samples for analysis following Best Practices.
• Participate in internal ISO-certified training programs.
