Job summary

Lube-Spec Ltd. is seeking a practical Field Service Engineer to join our team. This hands-on, field-based role covers servicing, fault-finding, repair and installation work at customer sites across the UK.

You will diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, complete service reports and maintain accurate records, and provide excellent on-site customer service while working safely and professionally. Some travel is required.

Qualifications

• Has a practical mechanical background and a willingness to learn.
• Experience in field service, plant, agricultural, HGV, commercial vehicle or industrial maintenance. Applicants from other hands-on mechanical backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
• Holds a full UK driving licence and is willing to travel as part of the role.
• Enjoys practical problem-solving, working independently and delivering quality workmanship.
• Experience with automatic lubrication systems is preferred but not essential, as full product training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Service, fault-find, repair and install automatic lubrication systems, and carry out planned preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.
• Complete service reports and maintain accurate records.
• Provide excellent customer service while working on-site.
• Work safely and professionally at all times.
