Job summary

Dovetail And Slate Ltd in Fareham is seeking five Learning Support Assistants to join their team in the Fareham/Southampton area. You will work closely with teaching staff to provide tailored support to students with additional learning needs.

Your role centers on building trusting relationships, enabling learners to access the curriculum, and promoting independence and confidence inside and outside the classroom.

Are you passionate about helping learners overcome barriers and achieve their potential? Our client, a further education provider, is looking for five Learning Support Assistants to join their team.

About the Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you'll work closely with teaching staff to provide tailored support to students with additional learning needs. Your role is central to creating an inclusive environment where every learner can access their education and thrive.

You'll build positive, trusting relationships with the students you support, adapting your approach to meet individual needs and helping them grow in confidence and independence.

Your responsibilities will include:

Providing one-to-one and small-group support to learners with additional needs, both in and out of the classroom.

Working alongside teaching staff to help students access the curriculum and complete their work.
