Cat C1 General Service Driver required for Transport Department NHS Grampian.

The position involves transporting supplies, stores, equipment, and laundry across NHS Grampian, adhering to manual handling regulations. Responsibilities include loading/unloading cages, pods, bags, containers, and stocking the vehicle for daily routes.

Requirements:

• Must hold a full class C1 Licence or above, CPC Card, and Tachograph Card. Driving experience preferred. No DR10.
• Carry out vehicle checks, report mechanical defects, and maintain vehicles to a high standard.
• Ensure loads are accurate and efficiently loaded/unloaded at delivery and collection points.
• Ability to manually handle heavy loads.
• Be punctual, reliable, well-presented, and communicate effectively face-to-face.

• Must be flexible regarding working hours and days based on service needs.
• Always be polite and courteous to staff, customers, and the public.
• Wear PPE provided as required.
