Job summary

DO & CO AG at Heathrow Airport seeks a Lounge Supervisor to lead Front of House operations, ensuring service excellence and close liaison with kitchen to meet standards. You will also support management across operations and participate in FB service delivery to passengers as part of the attendant team.

The role requires minimum 3 years of supervisory hospitality experience, strong leadership, and a focus on guest satisfaction. On-site role with staff management, audits, and budget awareness.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Supervisor in hospitality industry.
  • Ability to lead and motivate staff, delegate tasks effectively, and manage team dynamics.
  • Strong focus on providing excellent service to guests, addressing their needs, and resolving complaints.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with staff, management, and guests.
  • Ability to quickly identify issues and develop solutions to enhance operations and guest experiences.
  • Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks, schedules, and priorities efficiently.
  • Keen eye for detail to ensure the lounge is clean, well-presented, and meets high hospitality standards.
  • Skills to manage time efficiently, ensuring that service levels are maintained and that tasks are completed in a timely manner.
  • Understanding of budgeting, inventory control, and financial reporting to manage the lounge's profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Manage rostering for all catering staff (including kitchen staff).
  • Manage time sheets/payroll management.
  • Order food, drinks, and sundries through the Do & Co ordering system.
  • Liaise with Lounge Manager and Supervisors.
  • Liaise with laundry regarding Lounge linen.
  • Order cleaning supplies.
  • Provide performance management and training of all staff.
  • Investigate customer complaints.
  • Complete daily audits and maintain stock control.
  • Ensure food temperature complies with H&S regulations.

Job Description

The Lounge Supervisor at Heathrow Airport will focus on the Front of House operation whilst the Lounge is open and liaise with the kitchen to ensure all the required standards are met at all times. They will also support all management areas of the operations too when required. Also, the Lounge Supervisor will be expected to be part of the FB service delivery and attend to passengers as part of the attendant team.
