DO & CO group operates a luxury lounge at Heathrow Airport. We seek an experienced Lounge Housekeeper Supervisor to lead a dedicated team, uphold the highest cleanliness standards, and ensure guest comfort.

You will train staff, enforce cleaning protocols, manage supplies, and coordinate with other departments to deliver a superior guest experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of the Lounge at Heathrow Airport.
• Lead, train, and motivate a team of housekeepers to meet company standards.
• Establish cleaning protocols for lounges, seating, restrooms, and dining areas.
• Monitor supplies and equipment; order as needed to maintain readiness.
• Address guest inquiries promptly to ensure high satisfaction.
• Conduct regular inspections and provide feedback and coaching.
• Create staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak times.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and proper chemical handling.
• Maintain records of activities, performance, and inventory; report to Lounge Manager.
• Collaborate with Food & Beverage and front-of-house teams to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Job Description

The Lounge Housekeeper Supervisor will oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of our exclusive Lounge at Heathrow Airport. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team of housekeepers, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained to provide our guests with a welcoming and comfortable environment.

What will you be doing?

• Supervise, train, and motivate a team of housekeepers, ensuring they perform their duties efficiently and adhere to company standards.
• Establish and enforce cleaning protocols and standards to ensure that all areas of the lounge, including seating areas, restrooms, and dining areas, are kept clean and well-maintained.
• Monitor and manage cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring that the team is well-equipped to perform their duties. Order supplies as necessary.
• Ensure a high level of guest satisfaction by responding promptly to guest inquiries and concerns regarding cleanliness and service.
• Conduct regular inspections of the lounge to ensure compliance with cleanliness and hygiene standards, providing feedback and coaching to team members when necessary.
• Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak times, while also considering employee availability and preferences.
• Ensure that all cleaning practices comply with health and safety regulations, including proper handling and disposal of cleaning chemicals.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities, staff performance, and supply inventory, and report to the Lounge Manager on a regular basis.
• Work closely with other departments, such as food and beverage and front-of-house staff, to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a housekeeping or cleaning supervisory role, preferably in a hospitality or airport environment.
• Expertise in training staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards to enhance team performance.
• Proficient in managing cleaning supplies and equipment inventory, including ordering and tracking usage to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Strong focus on guest satisfaction, with the ability to address complaints and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning and housekeeping.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
