Job summary

Edsential is seeking a dedicated LOTC Advisor to join our team in Cheshire. The role offers fixed-location working hours (term-time, 42 weeks) and 29.6 hours per week, with flexibility across up to four days.

You will provide expert risk management guidance to Head Teachers and EVCs, deliver CPD for visit leaders, and deliver high-quality LOtC activity in school and community settings. The role supports curriculum development and OFSTED alignment while monitoring impact and continuing

Qualifications

• Degree and two other relevant qualifications in health and safety or outdoor education.
• Strong understanding of Health and Safety guidelines for educational visits.
• Member of OEAP, LOtC, or IOL.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Creative problem-solver for LOtC activities.
• Committed to ongoing professional development with national guidance.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert risk management guidance to Head Teachers and EVCs.
• Deliver CPD for visit leaders and EVCs.
• Deliver high-quality LOTC activities in school and community.
• Develop outdoor learning projects that enhance engagement.
• Promote LOtC services and align with OFSTED.
• Monitor and evaluate LOtC initiatives for impact.
