Job summary

Edsential is seeking a dedicated LOtC Advisor to join the team to support schools across five Local Authorities and wider independent schools. You will plan and deliver safe educational visits, providing expert LOtC guidance and CPD opportunities.

With flexibility to work up to four days a week across 42 weeks a year, the role is based at a fixed Cheshire location and focuses on developing LOtC within the curriculum and delivering engaging youth programmes.

Qualifications

• Experience planning and delivering LOtC visits.
• Deliver CPD sessions for youth professionals.
• Provide expert advice on health and safety for educational visits.
• Support schools across multiple local authorities.

Responsibilities

• Stay up to date with National Guidance from AAOLEV/OEAP and LOtC.
• Advise Head Teachers and EVCs on proportional risk management.
• Support planning and delivery of Educational Visits.
• Develop guidance on leader and establishment competence.
• Maintain the EVOLVE database.
• Promote LOtC services within the wider company.
• Assist curriculum development to meet OFSTED framework.
• Plan and deliver LOtC CPD including leader training.
• Develop new LOtC projects engaging learners.
• Monitor and evaluate impact in schools.
