Job summary

• Registered General Nurse (1st level) with current NMC registration.
• Specialist Practitioner in Public Health Nursing is required.

• Experience with looked-after children and safeguarding procedures.
• Evidence-based health promotion and education experience.

Responsibilities

• Work within a multidisciplinary team to safeguard and promote health for looked-after children.
• Undertake statutory health assessments and develop health action plans.
• Collaborate across local boundaries to ensure continuity of care.
• Communicate clearly with carers, professionals and young people; promote language that cares.
• Support health education activities and participate in policy-compliant practice.
