Job summary

Wye Valley NHS Trust is seeking a Band 6 Specialist Public Health Nurse to lead statutory health assessments for looked-after children in care. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to safeguard and promote health, create individualised health action plans and coordinate care across local boundaries in Herefordshire and border areas.

The role requires an RGN with NMC registration and a Specialist Practitioner Public Health Nursing qualification, plus experience with foster carers.

Qualifications

• Registered General Nurse (1st level) with current NMC registration.
• Specialist Practitioner in Public Health Nursing qualification.
• Experience with looked-after children and foster carers.
• Knowledge of Child Safeguarding Procedures.
