Royal London is seeking a Demographic Risk Analyst to join the actuarial team, starting in September 2027. The role focuses on longevity, population health and demographic trends to inform bulk purchase annuity pricing.

You'll work with Pricing and Insurance Risk specialists to develop demographic and mortality assumptions, validate data, and produce stress outputs, with opportunities for actuarial trainee progression.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline is desirable.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and actuarial tools.
• Logical, curious approach to problem-solving.

Responsabilités

• Support the production and review of demographic assumptions for bulk purchase annuity pricing.
• Prepare, validate and analyse member and scheme data.
• Use actuarial models to produce demographic, mortality and longevity stress outputs.
• Carry out checks on model inputs and outputs with clear evidence and documentation.
• Explain analysis clearly and support decision-making with Pricing and Insurance Risk.
• Contribute to improvements in tools, processes and guidance.
