Job summary

The Emerald Group in London is seeking a Longevity Actuary to help secure profitable new business by acting as a pricing and process expert. The role supports tender activity for UK and non-UK markets and requires strong modelling skills.

You will develop pricing approaches, assess data and modelling methods, and contribute to longevity basis development across markets. Hybrid working arrangements apply for this permanent position.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and modelling skills with the ability to work independently and apply judgement.

Responsibilities

• Support new business tenders for UK and non-UK markets.
• Develop and understand pricing approaches and models to assist the team.
• Assess data and modelling methods to keep processes competitive and efficient.
• Support longevity basis development for UK and non-UK markets.
• Directly relevant actuarial experience in bulk annuity/longevity swap markets.
• Develop models in Excel, VBA, R or other programming languages.
