Job summary

Search Consultancy LTD is recruiting an experienced Traffic Marshal for a long-term infrastructure project in Chesterfield. The role focuses on directing vehicle and plant movement, ensuring safe access, pedestrian routes, and adherence to health and safety procedures on site.

The successful candidate will have CPCS A73 or NPORS Traffic Marshal with CSCS, plus strong communication and safety awareness to work around vehicles and site operatives.

Qualifications

• CPCS A73 Traffic Marshal certification or NPORS Traffic Marshal qualification with CSCS logo.
• Experience as Traffic Marshal or Gateman preferred.
• Strong knowledge of site health and safety procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work safely around vehicles and plant.

Responsibilities

• Directing and controlling movement of vehicles and plant on site.
• Manage safe vehicle access and egress.
• Maintain safe pedestrian routes and worked areas.
• Communicate with plant operators and site management.
• Follow site traffic management plans and health and safety procedures.
