Job summary

Danny Sullivan Group is seeking a CPCS or NPORS Traffic Marshal for a long-term project at M5 Junction 10 Improvements Scheme in Gloucestershire. The role involves marshalling vehicles, ensuring safety around site traffic, and supporting deliveries on a major highway construction site.

You will need a valid CPCS/NPORS with CSCS, and ideally a Highway Passport, with responsibilities including directing HGVs, plant and deliveries while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Valid CPCS Traffic Marshal or NPORS with CSCS Logo.
• Highways Passport (Preferred).
• Previous experience as Traffic Marshal / Banksman on construction or infrastructure site.
• Experience working around plant and construction machinery.
• Good understanding of vehicle and pedestrian safety and site health & safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Marshalling vehicles entering, leaving and moving around site.
• Directing HGVs, plant and deliveries safely.
• Guiding vehicles and machinery into position.
• Managing vehicle movements in busy or restricted areas.
• Maintaining safe separation between pedestrians and vehicles.
• Communicating clearly with drivers, plant operators and site teams.
• Monitoring site access and maintaining safe traffic routes.
• Following site traffic management plans and procedures.
• Identifying and reporting hazards, unsafe conditions and near misses.
• Supporting the wider site team as required.
• Working in accordance with site health & safety procedures.
