Job summary

O’Neill & Brennan are seeking an experienced Traffic Marshal to manage vehicle movement on a busy construction site in Burton-on-Trent. The role requires NPORS or CPCS A73 certification, safety medical, and proof of right to work in the UK, with full PPE supplied and weekly pay.

Typical hours are 7:00am–4:30pm/5:00pm, Monday–Friday, with potential site changes. Long-term work and upskilling opportunities are available through the employer’s scheme.

Traffic Marshal - Burton-on-Trent - Free Parking - 2 years work - NPORS or CPCS Traffic Marshal ticket

O'Neill & Brennan are currently looking for an experienced Traffic Marshal to start work on a busy construction site in Burton-on-Trent.

Working hours: 7:00am - 4:30pm/5.00pm, Monday to Friday (hours may be subject to change depending on site requirements).

Duties and Responsibilities

• Directing and controlling the movement of vehicles entering, leaving and moving around the construction site.
• Safely guiding delivery vehicles and plant machinery into designated areas.
• Managing traffic flow to minimise congestion and maintain safe access to the site.
• Assisting drivers with reversing and manoeuvring where required.
• Ensuring pedestrians and site personnel remain clear of moving vehicles.
• Communicating effectively with site management, delivery drivers and other site personnel.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working area.
• Following all site traffic management plans, health and safety procedures and instructions.

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Traffic Marshal or Banksman on a construction site.
• A valid NPORS or CPCS A73 Traffic Marshal ticket
• Safety critical medical
• Full orange PPE
• Proof of Right to Work in the UK.
• Previous work experience and references.
• A strong awareness of site health and safety procedures and safe vehicle movements.
