Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teaching Assistants with a Level 2 qualification or higher to work on a long-term, full-time basis within welcoming and supportive primary schools across Rochdale.

You will work closely with class teachers and other staff, providing vital support to pupils throughout the school day and helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Level 2 TA qualification or higher.
• Experience working with children in a school setting.
• Positive, patient and nurturing approach.
• Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.

Primary Teaching Assistant - Rochdale Full-Time September Start

Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teaching Assistants with a Level 2 qualification or higher to work on a long-term, full-time basis within welcoming and supportive primary schools across Rochdale.

The schools are looking for Teaching Assistants who are passionate about supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing. You will work closely with class teachers and other members of staff, providing valuable support to pupils throughout the school day and helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting pupils with classroom activities and learning tasks
• Working with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning
• Supporting pupils with additional learning needs where required

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or higher
• Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting

• Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one

• The ability to support pupils with a range of abilities and needs
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
