Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a qualified Secondary Teacher for a long-term temporary role in Merthyr Tydfil. The position requires delivering engaging lessons and maintaining positive classroom behaviour with an immediate start.

You will work with a mainstream secondary school, supporting students aged 11 to 16 and helping them make strong academic progress. The role offers PAYE payroll with market-leading pay rates and supportive consultants to guide you through onboarding.

Qualifications

• QTS qualified; NQTs welcome to apply.
• Experience teaching in a secondary school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the secondary curriculum.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Enthusiastic, adaptable and committed approach to teaching.
