Job summary

Educato Limited is seeking a confident Cover Supervisor to join a Middleton secondary school on a full-time, long-term basis. You will supervise classes, deliver prepared materials, and support pupils with their learning while maintaining discipline and positive behaviour.

Hours are 8:30am - 3:30pm, with duties including taking registers, following school policies, and reporting any concerns to staff. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to student development in a supportive

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children or young people.
• Experience managing groups of pupils or leading classroom activities.
• Proven ability to maintain positive behaviour and pupil engagement.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organised, reliable and adaptable to different subjects and year groups.

Responsibilities

• Supervise classes during short-term absence of teaching staff.
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and ensure pupils understand tasks.
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Take registers and ensure pupils are accounted for during lessons.
• Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures consistently.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to maintain learning continuity.
